During a session, tuning forks with different frequencies are used around the body and, when appropriate, on specific acupressure points traditionally recognized in Chinese medicine. The gentle vibrations and sounds create a unique sensory experience that can encourage relaxation, body awareness, grounding, and a deeper sense of connection.

Rather than forcing anything to happen, a sound session invites the body to soften at its own pace. The combination of vibration, sound, stillness, and breath creates space to slow down, become present, and notice what you may be carrying. Some people experience emotions, memories, or physical sensations, while others simply experience deep relaxation. Every experience is different. Come as you are. Listen, breathe, receive, and allow yourself the space to let go of what you no longer need to carry.

Meet your sound healer:

Karen Eaton brings together more than a decade of experience in fitness, movement, and wellness with a genuine passion for helping people feel more connected to themselves and their bodies. As a Personal Trainer since 2012 and a Physical Therapist Assistant since 2019, Karen has developed a diverse foundation of knowledge and experience. She is also a Certified Kinesiology Taping Practitioner, Upledger Craniosacral Therapist (CST1) and a Certified Level Two Graston Practitioner.

Over the years, Karen has worked with individuals of many different abilities and backgrounds and has taught a variety of fitness classes, including Balance, Circuit Training, RIPPED, Piloxing, and Poundfit. These experiences have reinforced one of her core beliefs: there is no one-size-fits-all approach to wellness. Every person is unique, and each individual deserves to be seen, heard, and supported as a whole person.

Karen is continually expanding her professional “toolbox,” learning new ways to support the people she works with. Her newest addition is her Acutonics certification in sound therapy using tuning forks, offering a gentle and complementary approach centered around sound, vibration, relaxation, mindfulness, and overall well-being.

For Karen, wellness is about more than exercise or any single technique. It is about creating a space where individuals can slow down, reconnect, and discover the tools that help them feel their best. Her goal is to meet each person exactly where they are and thoughtfully blend her knowledge, experience, and passion to create a personalized wellness experience.
